One would have thought that the definition of terrorism might include people being terrorised by witnessing a deranged monster attacking, stabbing repeatedly and beheading little girls.

Thank you, gentlemen, for another incisive and detailed discussion which, as usual, was not so technical one prefers to watch paint dry. This is a very emotional subject and you handled it beautifully. I have to say I was very impressed with Mr Justice Goose who I fet was in total control of everything and that is what one expects from a Judge. Clever move on his part to make his views clear so they have to be taken into account in 52 years time. You both have the ability to make the law come alive as it can be seen as very dusty and dull although essential. You will both be pleased to know I do to think either of you are dusty nor dull! Have a lovely evening.

It was a good discussion and I liked listening to both your comments on the case. I have found the whole thing distressing and upsetting. I still can’t believe what has happened to these children. I heard that another child was killed in Germany last week. I just can’t understand why children are being targeted, why are they doing this? It’s just sickening.

Thank you kind sirs, for this very appropriate episode and explaining the many intricacies of the law and our judiciary. People here have made and offered some thoughtful comments and I appreciate them very much.

I am very much with Rachel on the desperately frustrating situation regarding ‘rioters’ and ‘far right thugs’, as the bollard called people. Those people were considered criminals before any convictions and the bollard wasn’t bothered about prejudice of cases then; he weaponised the system to his own ends in my opinion, and I hope he unravels because of it.

Something you pointed out stuck with me regarding ‘not guilty pleas’ and the trauma and stress it brings for families and those connected to families … also that witnesses ready themselves from day one of a trial and rarely do they give evidence straight away, and that it can take a while before they do so they relive the thing over and over; terrible! I have a lot to learn, so thank you again for helping me with that Steven.

Take care all 👍

Is it possible that the reason they are so determined to deny it is terrorist related is that they would then have to release all of the so called rioters, tweeters and fakebook posters who were terrified for the safety of their and our children and grandchildren and would in fact be proven to be guilty of murder by imprisoning poor Grandad Peter Lynch and others. Sorry I get so angry and despair because these poor people are still in prison and I cannot understand why. Is this not where your Equity would come in Steven exceptional circumstances. Then again I think it's also to do with freedom of speech which seems to be gone now.

I hadn’t thought about that being the reason Denise, good point.

Correct my learned friends. I am horrified at the childish level of legal wisdom excercised by the PM, especially as he boasts of being the DPP and a
